RESIN epoxy

Epoxy resin or resin is an epoxy that can be used for many different purposes and is created by mixing two components that are matched to each other. If the liquid resin is mixed with a suitable hardener, a chemical reaction is set in motion that usually lasts several hours.

After the components have been mixed with each other, not only heat is radiated, but the material is also converted from a liquid to a solid state which gives a glass like/very shiny finish.

POURING MEDIUM

A pouring medium is an additive used to create a thinner, flowing consistency in acrylic paint. Pouring medium is an essential ingredient in creating fluid artwork. It helps to increase the paint flow and reduce the viscosity of heavier paints, while maintaining color, texture and opacity in your finished artwork.

OTHER MEDIUMS I HAVE USED

I always like to experiment and try out new mediums.
Here are some mediums you will find in some of my artworks other than resin and pouring medium:
Acrylics, gouache, acrylic inks, alcohol inks, resin tint, mica powder, gold leafs, vitrail, spray paint, air brush, gesso, glaze and varnishes.

SUPPORT FOR PAINTINGS

For most of my paintings, I use stretched canvases and wood panels.
